“ Im not kidding when I tell you these pancakes were the size of my head. We stopped in for the highly recommended banana macadamia pancakes and they did not disappoint! They were super soft and buttery. The banana was fresh and macs are my favorite nut so win win for me! Its a family owned spot in Wailuku which is less touristy and much more my vibe. While in Maui, make this a food stop for sure! ”

“ Charming , lowkey, spot to go grab some yummy food. It was a little tricky to find, but Im so glad we did! My favorite was the banana macadamia nut pancake. The sauce was delicious! We also had the corn beef hash with eggs and rice meal as well as the eggs, potatoes, and Portuguese sausage meal! Service was very friendly. I wish we were in town longer to go again. ”

“ This is a local favorite. Youll rarely see tourists eating here. The food is absolutely amazing. Saimin is something I order every single time. The ox tail soup is also good. Garlic shrimp is another fav of mine. They also serve breakfast dishes but I havent ordered any of them. ”

We appreciated that the menu offered all day breakfast and lunch fares which were all yummy! Great service, fair prices, and good food. “ Really friendly staff with lots of recommendations. We wanted to try as much as we could, so we went with the sumo loco with fried rice to split. We also got a small saimin as well, but honestly for the two of us the sumo moco was more than enough. The fried rice and beef teri were the highlights in the moco. The saimin had a nice light broth with noodles I really enjoyed. Oh by the way, the sign for the place is underneath the parking area, but the place itself is on the level above you drive up to. ”

“ Wow! We ran into this place on pure chance and we are so glad we did. We were greeted at the door by Desiree, who has to be one of the coolest chickies we have met here. What a great personality! This is such a homey vibe, mom and pop shop. The food is some of the best Ive ever had. The chicken cutlet is insanely delicious. Theres nothing on the menu you wont love. If you come by, say hi to Desiree. Shes amazing. ”

“ We went on a Friday night, around 630. We called ahead and were notified of a large party, but that they had a booth available. We arrived and were seated right away. The large party was there and nearing the end of their meal so service and timing were never affected. There were plenty of couples and four tops enjoying their dinners. We ordered, enjoyed looking around at the beautiful artwork, and pretty quickly, our food was delivered with Aloha. We thoroughly enjoyed the Opakapaka and Terriyaki beef. All good, simple, affordable and a great, date night treat! ”
